Torbay Sea School is an established and professional RYA training centre based in the picturesque South Devon fishing port of Brixham specialising in providing our customers with the highest standards of training, in comfortable surroundings, and excellent yachts – making sure you gain your qualifications with confidence, whilst having fun as you learn. We offer a large variety of courses ranging from basic introduction to sailing and powerboat, up to the full RYA Yachtmaster qualification.
We pride ourselves on our experienced instructor team and diverse course offerings.
We work with students to achieve their sailing and powerboat ambitions through thorough training and qualifications, with numerous successful graduates who have confidently taken to the waters. Our commitment to excellence sets us apart.
Torbay Sea School is part of the 50 North Group of specialist maritime training schools, with centres in the UK, Europe (Mediterranean) and the United States. We are the only RYA school group operating integrated training operations across the UK, Europe and the USA. The business remains British owned and run by passionate and hugely experienced sailors
